Message Hey guys, I'm in a funk here. Someone help me. In July, I just spent yet MORE money on this thing, and I'm kinda disappointed. Before that, I have stripped & painted it, put staggered 18s, bigger brakes, Strosek front bumper (not cheap & not easy to get), a Wings West rear bumper, new moldings almost everywhere, new oem style spoiler, red stitch boots & arm rests inside, JL stealth box, amps & components, intake, hard pipes, JWT ECU, crank pulley, test pipes, Borla, GReddy Profec B & timer, short shifter, more I cant remember. Plus occasional repairs. Then last month I put almost $10k in again including a low mile JDM motor, full 60k maintainence, 555's, another JWT ecu, dual pop, an Apexi SAFC, split DP's, and bigger RZT turbos, and labor... The last round was cause my turbo seals went & I cooked cyl #2..

All said and done, I was told to expect 500+hp, then once I tuned the A/F ratio, close to 550hp at the flywheel, like 450+ at the wheels... I have to say I highly doubt that. Cause altho it was loud as hell & I dont know what he had done to it, I got beat by a Ram Air Trans Am last night.. It was a real screamer, like Harley loud, but no way in hell that should have happened if I was making that power. And I also have to admit, my 'butt dyno' was expecting more too, and it really only feels about what I was when I was @ 'stage 5' (depending on whose stage list) last summer. I don't really use the car from late Oct to early March.

So I went home & got my G-Tech. I have the one with the graph display. I did some quick runs, not very elaborate, but still made a few passes. Now I know these are not the most accurate things in the world, but I had runs stored from last year & either way I should show a higher number now. By like 100hp or so. Even if I had the weight off by a bit or whatever, if it was off then, and off now, its non variable. Well I made LESS power than my runs from last year!!! WTF?!?!?!

This car seriously pisses me off now... $10k later & making LESS power... My only hope is that its a tuning issue. When RZT did the install, he left the timing & SAFC settings conservative to play it safe until I had it wide band tuned or dyno tuned. But could timing & fuel curve really cost me over 100hp?? If you figure I was making maybe 425hp last year (flywheel) with 17psi, test pipes, cat back, crank pulley, ecu & pop. I still have those same mods PLUS 555's, bigger ball bearing turbos, split DP's and a motor that had ~160 on all cylinders in the compression test.. WHY DO I HAVE LESS POWER??

Reason I am now thinking of throwing in the towel is cause even just for the $10k I spent last month, not to mention I can get much more for the car, I can get a lot of nice cars for that... Please tell me how to get the power I was expecting or I may have to pull the plug...
